Taylor Swift’s surprise album release may be her greatest love story yet

So tell me are you Ready for It?🎶

Less than 6 hours ago the country turned pop superstar made a jaw-dropping announcement that had ‘Swifties’ lose their marbles.

The American singer-songwriter released her 8th studio album after making a surprise announcement less than 24 hours prior. “I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve,” Swift said upon Folklore’s release. “Now it’s up to you to pass them down.”

Never in our Wildest Dreams did we think we’d be graced with a pop-up Taylor Swift release, and even better news, it seems the Penselyvanian born girl has returned to her country roots in this 16-song album.

The thirty-year-old signer was busy writing songs during quarantine, despite her posting on Twitter in April that she wasn’t up too much …. ahhh maybe a little bit of an understatement Miss Swift?! 🤣

In a statement, Swift explained, “Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening.” So I guess that only means one thing for the famous singer, make a surprise album? 🤣 Why not? 😂

She commented on the album that, “I wrote and recorded this music in isolation but got to collaborate with some musical heroes of mine; @aarondessner (who has co-written or produced 11 of the 16 songs), @boniver (who co-wrote and was kind enough to sing on one with me), William Bowery (who co-wrote two with me) and @jackantonoff (who is basically musical family at this point). Engineered by Laura Sisk and Jon Low, mixed by Serban Ghenea & Jon Low.”

She added, “The album photos were shot by the amazing @bethgarrabrant. Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with. Love you guys so much.”
